Qferri started in 2018 as a single mentorship program. Today our curriculum runs from market microstructure to portfolio construction, used by 12,000+ students across the United States.

Our Story

A curriculum, not a content library.

Most online "investment education" is content marketing in a hoodie. Qferri was founded by Jordan Liang and Marcus Brent, both former proprietary traders, after they watched too many talented students wander through 200 disconnected YouTube videos and finish no closer to a working method.

The Qferri curriculum was redesigned in 2024 to incorporate modern API-driven brokers such as alpaca alongside traditional retail platforms, because that is where the next generation of independent traders are actually executing.

We are not a broker. We are not an advisory firm. We are a school. The job we have set ourselves is to give you the skills, the mental models, and the practice hours you need to operate competently — and then to send you back to the markets.
